Veneto Outdoor is the app that gathers all the walking tails of the Veneto region and is the perfect companion for your next walk in the nature.
Presented during the fortieth edition of the Italian Tourism Exchange – BIT, Veneto Outdoor is a new and rich app that collects all paths and itineraries of the Veneto Region.
Easy to consult and use, this is a useful and innovative tool for organizing your outdoor excursion, with the possibility of choosing your itinerary selecting it by theme and type.
About 12,500 kilometers of trails to explore on foot, by bicycle, on horseback, with snowshoes or skis on your feet, using the app to follow the route precisely and safely.
The purpose of this project is to stimulate and facilitate the use of these routes, often not enough popular among local and tourists, although they represent a huge part in the historical and cultural richness of this territory.
In addition, this application promotes tourist itineraries using the certified open data model, a technology that will allow local associations to request the inclusion of the routes they have defined; in the same way, everyone will also be able to share their walking experience and propose to officially insert it within the catalog of routes already available.
